The success of the DC/PT Integration program is found in physical therapy reimbursements. The PT reimbursement can be many times more than the chiropractic reimbursement. On average, the reimbursement from Medicare for a chiropractic treatment is about $20-$30 in comparison to the $100-$150 for a physical therapist visit.
The difference between the two reimbursement amounts can be explained by looking at the relationship that a physical therapist has with insurance companies, Medicare and Tricare. Compared to chiropractors, physical therapists are typically given higher coverage levels, which then in turn end up in higher reimbursements for patient treatments. Plus, about 90 percent of patients with back and neck pain are referred by MD's and DO's to physical therapists compared to ten percent referred to chiropractors.
Additionally, because they have their own provider numbers and insurance codes, physical therapists can work independently of chiropractors within the clinic, continuing to bring in revenue to your office even if you or other chiropractors are not present.
The DC/PT Integration program will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to submit reimbursements to insurance companies and Medicare. We will supply you with all of the forms and documents that you need in order to successfully receive reimbursements. We have worked closely with insurance companies and Medicare to ensure that all billing and coding procedures within our program are acceptable, compliant and easy to follow.

We have run into some hurdles concerning reimbursement, compliance and setting up the optimal treatment program, which ARC has been instrumental in solving. That is ARC's role in this. Without ARC’s guidance we would have had months of headaches and lost many dollars in re-imbursement while trying to reinvent the wheel. For the past few years I have wanted to move into the role of administration only, which is where I see myself in a few short months. Now instead of owning my own job, I will own a business that will continue to make money even when I am on vacation.” -- Jeff L, DC
