When your office begins to offer physical therapy services, you will be able to accept many more MD and DO referrals. About 90 percent of patients suffering from back and neck pain are referred to physical therapists while only ten percent are referred to chiropractors. The DC/PT Integration program therefore allows your office to see clients you normally would not see, simply because they could not afford the treatments or were not referred. To illustrate, our clinic has had 32 consultations and 72 patient treatments in one single day.
More patients visiting your clinic will generate greater revenue, because physical therapy reimbursements are typically higher than chiropractic reimbursements. On average, Medicare will reimburse between $100 and $150 for a physical therapy visit, whereas it will reimburse only $20 to $30 for a chiropractic treatment.
Because they are referred to your clinic, patients will be more likely to follow through with treatment because most would be covered by their insurance company or by Medicare. This increased volume will strengthen the reputation of your clinic even more, as patients revisit and share their positive experiences with their families and friends.
Our program will provide you with the tools and materials you need to fully implement a physical therapist into your office. Specifically, we will give you materials to help you hire one or more physical therapists and assistants, providing you with job advertisement templates, interviewing questions and tips, salary ranges and reimbursement procedures.
Additionally, the DC/PT Integration program will provide you with information for your entire staff, including front desk personnel. Every person in your office plays an integral part in implementing the DC/PT Integration program.

“Even if you thought that you were a good marketer before and you got patients in the door, you’re closing so many more patients. You’re getting them to sign up now that insurance pays. You can get 10 patients in the door and only close 3 in cash, now you can close 7-9 of them pretty easy.” – Andy R, DC
